What if I told you that you could quickly and dramatically change the entire look of your kitchen simply by refacing your cabinets? It might seem too good to be true, but it really is quite simple (and more cost effective than purchasing brand new custom cabinets). If you’ve been considering remodeling your kitchen, but are nervous about the investment and time commitment involved, cabinet refacing may be the best choice for you.

Here’s how cabinet refacing works:

  1. A design professional will visit you in your home to talk about options for your outdated or worn cabinetry (there are many – solid wood doors, custom crown moulding, proprietary finish system, soft-close hinges, etc.).

2. Your exact cabinet measurements will be taken and your old cabinet faces will be removed and recycled.

3. Only your cabinet boxes (or frames) will remain, and these will be finished in your home to match your new faces (with very minimal mess – you can still use your kitchen or bathroom while this process takes place.)

4. Your new custom door and drawer faces are constructed and hand-finished in our shop, then easily installed in your home.

Hand Finishing

The entire process can be done in about 3-5 days for most jobs. If you are looking for a more streamlined, cost effective remodeling process, but want to maintain the professional quality and look of a custom cabinet makeover, you will love cabinet refacing.
